    GIS BASED EVALUATION OF SHALLOW UNDERGROUND SPACE IN DONGYING CITY

    • Using the features of data management and analysis of GIS,this paper carries out the evaluation of shallow underground space resource in Dongying City. First of all, a systematic research is made on the engineering geological characteristics. The demand and situation of the exploitation of underground space resources are researched. On these bases, the influencing factors are analyzed for the underground space resource in Dongying City. An evaluation index system is made. Every index is calculated. By combining GIS with established mathematical model, a comprehensive evaluation of underground space resource in Dongying City is done. As a result, the survey region can be preliminarily divided into three levels and one independent zone, respectively. They make up 79.2%、 8.8%、 8.5%、 3.5% of the overall area.
