    NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF BLASTING VIBRATION ON SLOPE STABILITY

    • Blasting vibration is one of the most important factors affecting slope stability. Based on actual engineering project, this paper uses the FDM software-FLAC to simulate the effects of blasting vibration on slope stability. The problems about boundary conditions,dynamic time series,and rational damping for the geological body are discussed. Through in-depth dynamical analysis of velocity and displacement, the paper shows the vibration characteristic of the slope and its displacement and velocity varying laws. The results present in this paper can be used to guide the productive practice to ensure slope stability.
