TREATMENT OF LATERITE SUBSIDENCE BY DYNAMIC COMPACTION

The treatment of laterite subsidence is important for a stability of a foundation.This paper presents dynamic compaction test results for treatment of thick-filling soil mass with a laterite base.Appropriate working procedures and design parameters are obtained from the test.Monitoring data show that the treatment offers good compacting effect as well as economic benefits.
