    IN-SITU TEST ON ACTIVE EARTH PRESSURE ZONE IN PILES AND ANCHORS SUPPORTING SYSTEM FOR DEEP FOUNDATION PIT

    • Field tests were carried out for examining active earth pressure zone near a deep and large foundation pit supported with piles and anchors.Based on the concept of spatial and temporal effect,the features of forces acting on the pile and anchor supporting system are studied and analyzed. The characteristics of the earth pressure in the active zone with respect to the pit excavation steps are obtained.The results can be a useful reference to the earth pressure calculation of similar deep and large foundation pits.
