      Abstract
    • The ground settlement caused by large-scale urban construction has become a new restriction factor of ground settlement in soft soil area of Shanghai.An unequal time-interval GM(1,1) predicting grey model is established according to the characteristics of ground settlement in soft soil area.The model is proved to be satisfying through the examination of engineering practice,and is of significant importance for the prediction and control of ground settlement.induced by engineering construction.
