A DATA MINING CASE STUDY FOR THE CREEP TEST DATA OF ARGILLITE

This paper introduces the process of data mining using the MS Analysis Service and the essential principle of the algorithm of the Decision-Tree. The data mining method is used to analyze a set of the creep test data of argillite. As a result of data mining, several key factors are revealed. Their impacts on the deformation during the test are then assessed.
