ENGINEERING GEOLOGY AND GEO-TECHNIQUE

Similarities and differences between engineering geology and geotechnical engineering are discussed in details. It is concluded that engineering geology is the basis of geotechnical engineering, while geotechnical engineering is an extension of engineering geology.
