Abstract
Investigation and analysis of engineering-geological conditions for 5 airports in North China, chemical analysis, petrographical facies analysis, electron microscope and X-Ray analysis of the properties and constituents of the concrete aggregate and product of its erosion, soil and water were carried out. An arrest reaction of alkaline concrete aggregate with coal cinder powder was tested. The preliminary vesut shows that preferred engineering-geological conditions and isolation layer design are the effective way to controlling the concrete aggregate erosion.
