EVALUATION OF SAND LIQUEFACTION BASED ON MONTE CARLO SIMULATION

This paper presents the principle and procedure of Monte Carlo simulation for assessment of sand liquefaction. Also the probability distribution function and the flowchart of probability simulation are proposed. The practical examples have shown that result of this method is consistent with those of probability analysis and specification evaluation.
