STUDY ON THE STRUCTURAL CHARACTERISTICS AND ELASTIC-PLASTIC MODEL OF RECENT MARINE SOFT SOIL

The study of mathematical model of structured soils is the key of soil mechanics in the coming century. In this paper, the structural characteristics of one recent marine soft soil are investigated, and much is attributed to probe the hardening mechanism of plastic volumetric strains and plastic shear strains, then the yield locus with two hardening parameters in p q stress plane is identified , the plastic stress strain relationship is finally formulated with structural parameterm.
