RESEARCH ON HYDROGEOLOGY OF CHAMBESHI COPPER MINE AND ITS DRAINAGE SCHEME, ZAMBIA

The author has analyzed the characteristics of hydrogeological conditions and their influence on water inrush preventing and treatment in Chambeshi Copper Mine, Zambia, Suggests a drainage scheme for the main orebody and ununiformly arranged the drainage works in space, mainly at the mining level, which is different from customary way in the local mines. In order to successful realizing the scheme, some measures should be taken in the early time of mine reopening.
