EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON LIQUEFIABLE FOUNDATION REINFORECED WITH DRY-VIBRO GRAVEL PILES

Based on detailed field tests of liquefiable foundation of ligh speed highway reinforced with dry vibro gravel piles, the technology of reinforcement with dry vibro gravel piles and its compaction effect are discussed in this paper. The result shows that treatment of liquefiable foundation with the gravel piles has great advantage and the liquefaction potential reduced. Further, the author applied and confirmed the SASW method to be an effective and economic way to control the gravel pile composite foundation.
