SEISMIC MONITORING AND FORECASTING FOR XIAOLANGDI RESERVOIR ON THE YELLOW RIVER

A thinking way to seismic monitoring and forecasting during construction and operation of Xiaolangdi Reservoir is suggested. The seismological works prior to empounding of the reservoir, during quiet seismic activity, reservoir induced earthquakes, and intensive near field earthquakes are considered. A telemeteric Seismic Network tends to be set on the Xiaolangdi Reservoir.
