STUDY ON THE ANALOGISM IN GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING

In order to improve the analogism in geotechnical engineering, it is necessary to further study on its theoretical basis, conditions for its application, analogic property and quantification. We put out the defination and calculation of analogic index by analyzing the influential elements. Some examples show that it is reasonable and applicable.
