Abstract
In order to obtain an optimum slope angle corresponding to a stability factor, the stability factor of a wedge shaped four plane slip rockmass of double slipp planes and any slope height at different slope angle which can be forward caculated continuously is given in the paper. A test calculation of the stope slope in Shenfu Dongsheng and Jungar coal fields by using this method gives a more safety reserve of the slope.
