    SLOPE SLIDING CRITERIA CONSIDERING PLASTIC STRAIN AND PLASTIC STRAIN RATE

    • General slope sliding criteria under a small deformation dondition are proposed in this paper. Meanwhile, the accuracy of different numerical methods and the important features of stress discontinuous line are discussed. The possibility of plastic strain and plastic strain rate for finite deformation considered as slope sliding criteria is studied further. Finally the conspicuous defects in present slope stability theory are pointed out, and the correct direction and its solution methods are suggested.
