DEVELOPMENT OF GEOLOGICAL ENGINEERING MONITORING INFORMATION SYSTEM

A preliminary idea of geological engineering monitoring information system (GEMIS) is proposed in this paper. Several important problems in the development of the GEMIS are discussed. Four aspects of the developing process: the selection of developing methods, function demand analysis, characteristics of system design, and system developing implementation are concerned. Some understanding of the authors from developing experience are presented.
