ENGINEERING GEOLOGICAL RESEARCH ON THE LAYOUT DEPTH OF LIGHT RAIL LINE 1 IN CHONGQING CITY

Light rail line 1 in Chongging City will be built in a geological environment characteristic of a mountainous city. Selection of its layout depth is an important problem. In the paper, Based on analysis of the engineering geological setting,the principles for determination of its layout depth is proposed ;the standard of the minimum safe ratios of its equivalent thickess of its coverage to spen is given; and the concrete suggestion of its layout depth is put forward.
