THE DIRECTIVE STATISTICAL EVALUATION OF ROCK JOINT ROUGHNESS COEFFICIENT(JRC)

In the paper,firstly ,we review the database used in studying joint roughness coefficient(JRC)in rock mass and analyze of various methods appliied evaluation JRC.Then,basing on the detailed survey and study of in-situ joint surface profiles,we develope a Bartons straight edge method for evaluating JRC.At last,we put forward a new scientific way for directive statistical evaluation of JRC in the light of rock properties.
