Abstract
The remolded loess with same dry density and different moisture contents are tested with confined compression test. Based on research methods of undisturbed loess collapsibility, effect of moisture content on deformation characteristics of the remolded loess is analyzed. The test results show that under low moisture content, the relationship between void ratio and stress is approximately linear. The relationship between secant modulus and stress is significant nonlinear. The strain velocity decays very rapid. Under high moisture content, the relationship between void ratio and stress is significantly nonlinear. The relationship between secant modulus and stress is approximately linear and the strain velocity decays slowly.
