    • Through the systematic investigation with a lots of drillings, the paper has a detailed study on the topograph, strata and structural geology in Taipinghu bridge region. Based on the work, the paper presents that the preferred structural plane formation is related with Huangshan vault uplift (forming NW the radial crack) to southeast Under the engineering load, the deformation of the bridge basement is very small, therefore, it is suitable for bridge construction.
