THE PROBLEMS ABOUT ENGINEERING GEOLOGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL GEOLOGY OF XI'AN URBAN CONSTRUCTION

The problems have caused by large scale urban construction. In this paper, have introduce a few problem about engineering and environmental geology in Xi'an city's building, such as ground settlement and ground fracture, Man-made lake seepage and made saturated soft loess, large area fill caused loess collapsibility increase and a wide range settlement, And to interest to research these similar engineering geological problems.
