CHARACTERISTIC OF LANDSLIDE HAZARDS AVOIDED IN THE 3RD REMOVAL ALONG THE BANK OF YANGTZE RIVER IN FENGDU, THE THREE GORGES AREA

Like other geological hazards, landslides have their characteristic and occurrence, development themselves. Based on the review and analysis of 37 landslides in Fengdu County, the characteristic of these landslides are obtained. The stability of these landslides, which almost are accumulative formation in origin and shallow in deep, has decreased gradually with the rise of the water level of Yangtze River in recent two years.
