ON INTERACTION BETWEEN SINGLE PILE AND SOIL AND MECHANISM OF LOAD TRANSFERRING

s The interaction between single pile and soil and the process of load transferring are studied, the meaning of in function of load transferring are clarified that is not the relative movement between pile body and soil or compressed pile body, but pile movement. The modified model of pile and soil interaction model was built and the formula for forecasting skin friction force and pile axis force are reached. Applied these formula to a case study, the forecasting result of load-settlement curve is well consistent with in-situ test data.
