    • According to the investigation on mountain torrents and previous data, the characteristic of mountain torrents is summarized in Yuxi City. Based on the partition of rainfall and topographic & geological conditions, the vulnerability zoning of mountain torrents is divided into 14 zones for different probability of disaster occurrence in this area. This work is instructive to resist and reduce the occurrence of mountain torrents, and is helpful to the city planning.
