SOIL SQUEEZING EFFECT OF DRIVING PILE IN SATURATED CLAY ON STRAIT FIELD

This paper firstly discussed the mechanism of soil squeezing effect, and analyzed the effect of time and space for soil squeezing. Then the opinion of plastic zone overlapping and effect of big pile was proposed, and the general methods to control soil squeezing effect were introduced. It was shown that it is important to apply driving pile on strait field. Finally, a case study was employed to analyze the advantages and disadvantages for soil squeezing effect.
