A MODIFIED LIMIT EQUILIBRIUM METHOD USING FOR SLOPE ANALYSIS

A modified limit equilibrium method is presented in this paper. This method considers the interaction forces between every two elements of soils. The orientation of the shear forces are determined by the grade of slope. This method is much close to practice. Some conditions are analyzed according to this method, including the effects of the change characteristics of the angle of slide faces, the acceleration of earthquake and the water condition in the slope. The results are compared with that of the circle slip method.
