Abstract
The way to detect the length of the reinforcement cage in the cast-in-situ bored pile by the traditional 'mise-a-la-masse' method is introduced. Results of the theory analysis and the modern pile test indicate that the bottom of the reinforcement cage corresponds to the minimum of the electric potential gradient curve and the inflexion of the electric potential curve. The practice shows that the way is effective, practicable, fast.
