    DISCUSSION ABOUT GROUND-TREATMENT METHOD FOR MASSIVE-FILL AT THE SHORE IN SHENZHEN

    • It is a safety and reliable step that the main buildings&constructions of large-engineering adopt pile-foundation in the engineering-geology condition as follow: the upper part consist of massive-fill, the lower part consist of soft clay, groundwater and seawater communicate with each other. In some power plant in Shenzhen city, making lead-holes in the massive-fill using dive-hole hammer, and return filling gravel into the lead-holes,then driving H-pile, using this work process obtained so that result in ground-treatment; and adopting dynamic compaction for ground is economical and feasible step, it is proved by the test that 3 500 kN穖 compacting-energy is easy for construction and suitable for ground bearing capacity of general buildings & constructions.
