    SPECIFICATION-BASED CLASSIFICATTON OF SURROUNDING ROCK IN TUNNELS

      Abstract
    • Based on the classification knowledge of surrounding rock in the specification of tunnel design, a computer specification-based program SUROC is developed to evaluate quality of surrounding rock mass in the tunnel using the technique of expert system. It's application in practice shows the program can be used to classify rapidly and effectively for rock mass in tunnels.
