DISCUSSION ON THE FUTURE SEISMICITY IN DATONGYANGGAOZHANGBEI AREA USING THE BRITTLE FAILURE THEORY OF MULTIPLE LOCKED PATCHES ALONG A SEISMOGENIC FAULT

Based on the the brittle failure theory of multiple locked patches along a seismogenic fault presented recently by us,the possibility of that the strong earthquake will occur in DatongYanggaoZhangbei area is analysed. It is shown that a destructive earthquake with a magnitude of more than 65 in this area will possibly occur.
