SHEAR THEORIETICAL ANALYSIS ON SOIL-NAIL INTERACTION

There is some ambiguity about the soil-nail interaction mechanism in the design of soil nailing reinforcement. The paper presents a shear model for explaining the soil-nail interaction. The model is proved to be vailed through a case study. Also, the soil-nail interaction mechanism is studied by using the model.
