    STUDY ON THE ENGINEERING-GEOLOGICAL PROBLEMS OF WATERPROOF WALL FOR EMBANKMENT IN THE DOWNSTREAM OF THE YELLOW RIVER

    • From the engineering-geological investigation data of embankment area in the downstream of the Yellow River, the engineering-geological conditions for waterproof wall to be built are studied in this paper, and the engineering-geological problems, such as embankment foudations seepage, deformation, sand-soil liquefaction, and uneven settlement are also studied. Based on these studies, some useful processing methods are put forward.
