STUDY ON GEOMECHANICAL MODELLING OF THE FAULT ACTIVITIES IN XIAN AREA

On the basis of site investigation and comprehensive analysis,the 3-D geomechanical modelling tests were conducted for study of the fault activities in Xian area.A dynamic model of the recent fault activity is set up.The relations between the formation of Xian ground fissures and the fault activities are discussed.In this paper,the model design,the modelling techniques and the results of all studies are presented in detail.
